With so many pupils, ensuring a seamless educational experience in today’s technology-driven world presented a unique challenge for the school’s IT team. The school had taken the decision to embrace a one-to-one learning strategy, equipping students with a diverse range of devices depending on their age group – iPads for younger students, Windows laptops for middle schoolers, and a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program for senior grades –, all of which demanded a robust and adaptable network infrastructure. Additionally, the school’s secure network infrastructure would need to cater to the varied needs of staff with various devices and operating systems further amplifying the overall complexity.
In addition to the challenges and deliverables specific to the network infrastructure, the school’s IT Team prioritised robust network security measures, encompassing features like Corporate, Conference, and Guest Wi-Fi access, penetration testing, phishing simulations, and more.
