Friday 6th May, 2022
Fleet, Hampshire (May 5th, 2022) – KHIPU Networks Limited, a leading provider of Cyber Security products and Services, today announced that they are formally opening a new Head Quarters Building in Fleet, Hampshire, to accommodate the growth in customer demand for their services and to provide an excellent working environment for their cyber security personnel.
KHIPU are delighted that the offices will be formally opened by Anne Hollamby of The Royal Warrant Holders Association and Claire Battersby of the British Red Cross, on the 5th May, 2022.
Matt Ashman – KHIPU Chief Commercial Officer “KHIPU recently had the opportunity to support a grant for the British Red Cross on behalf of the Royal Warrant Holders Association, to help provide humanitarian relief in Ukraine and we look forward to learning more about the British Red Cross and what KHIPU and our suppliers might additionally be able to help with.
“The opening of KHIPU Networks new Headquarters office is an important step towards realising our ambitious growth plans for the next five years” said Andrew Brimson, KHIPU CEO “The new office will be the first of many important changes for the company internationally in 2022. We will shortly be releasing some exciting news on further plans, relating to global market conditions and how KHIPU is responding to them.
The British Red Cross has been helping people in crisis both here and abroad, for over 150 years. Since 1870 we have been providing support to those who need it most, no matter who or where they are. During the First and Second World Wars, we gave relief to sick and wounded members of the armed forces, prisoners of war and civilians. After the First World War, we began providing health and social care services in peacetime. These services were continued and extended, and we have worked hand in hand with the NHS ever since its creation in 1948.
As the charity’s longest-serving Patron, Her Majesty the Queen has supported the British Red Cross for 65 years. In 1951, then Princess Elizabeth, one of her earliest visits was to meet tuberculosis patients being cared for by Red Cross nurses.
In 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic broke out, the British Red Cross responded to one of the most challenging humanitarian emergencies in modern history, showing the power of kindness as it supported the most vulnerable in our society, from providing a listening ear on our support line to getting food and medicines to people in need – our staff, volunteers and supporters stepped up to the challenge.
Now we are responding once again, providing support to the people caught up in the conflict in Ukraine where 1 in 10 people have been forced to flee their homes. With the generous support of the British public and partnership organisations like KHIPU, Red Cross teams are able to provide a place of food, water, first aid, medical assistance and psychosocial support.
Claire Battersby, Senior Regional Fundraiser at British Red Cross said: “With the help of valued supporters like KHIPU Networks on behalf of the Royal Warrants Association, the British Red Cross has been able to offer much-needed relief to over a million people who have been impacted by the conflict in Ukraine. Thank you for your generosity. “We are pleased and proud to be here to officially open this new headquarters today. Without the charitable support of partners like KHIPU, our staff and volunteers would not be able to carry out the vital work they are doing every day, to ensure that basic humanitarian needs like food, water, medicines, and a place of safety are available to those who are in crisis.”
