Job Title: Technical Engineer
Location: Fleet, Hampshire
Experience: Minimum 2 years related Experience
The core focus of this role is to provide post sales support and consultancy services for our UK customer base over a wide range of technical disciplines.
The customer base is UK wide, so the candidate must be willing and able to travel. Although the company is sited in Fleet, the candidate can be based at any location, home working when necessary.
The company is dynamically led and often looks at new technology to complement a strong product base. To cater for this we invest heavily in training, but also expect the candidate to show wiliness to learn new products not only through formal training but also self learning.
As a minimum we are looking for candidates with the following attributes;
· Strong technical background across at least 2 of the following areas
o Networking LAN/WAN
o IPS/IDS
o Firewalls
o Wireless
o Network Access Control
o Linux
o DHCP/DNS services
· Fluent written & spoken English
· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
· Ability to work under pressure
· Good analytical skills and troubleshooting
· Valid driving license
