Khipu Safe-Track is an application which can be tailored to fit nearly any customer requirement for interactive RFID location tracking across any wireless network.
Example uses include:-
Health and Safety:
- Tracking Lone Workers (Security Guards, Lecturers, Nurses, Doctors, Porters). In the event a lone worker is stationary for more than an expected period, Safe-Track can automatically send an alert to colleagues stating the location and time the target person has been stationary. In addition a lone worker can use a Safe-Track RFID tag which has two-way communication to discretely send an alarm into the system (by pressing a button on the tag) to alert colleagues to a threat or incident.
- Tracking Vulnerable People (Elderly, Infirm, Children, Psychiatric) - In the event a vulnerable person goes missing, the safe-track system can be interrogated by Web, SMS, Email to find the last known position of the tracked person. The system can also be configured to send an automatic alarm if a target heads through a logical barrier (could be a doorway, zone, garden gate etc). At School a bullied child can use the system to discretely alert school staff to their location and that an incident was occurring, to enable the school staff to seemingly stumble on the incident.
- Estate Management - Affix an RFID active tag to any high value object, the tags are tamper proof and can be tracked all over the wireless estate, automatically sending an alarm if they head passed a logical security zone, which may be a building exit or a safety risk.

- Safe-Track will respond with a location (between 1-3 metres) and update the request if and where the targeted tag moves.

- Safe-Track can integrate with any existing database to provide a fully integrated real-time tracking system.
