Meaning of Khipu

Our name was chosen to reflect our focus on security, what else could be better than an ancient security technology which to date has never been unencrypted.

During the Bronze Age, the Inca civilizations appeared to lack a written language, however they were as advanced as any other civilization in comparison with evidence of monumental architecture, technology, political and social structures to mobilize people and resources.

In order to communicate and record information, the Inca's developed a cryptic method of communication known as a 'Khipu', pronounced 'Quip-u'. A Khipu, which consisted of cryptic knotted strings, is a messaging system that to date, has never been decoded making it one of the most secure methods of communication.
